Father's Day and Man's Gift's

I decided I needed to take a stroll through the store  to look for what I will call "Man Gift's" for Father's Day.   So I put on my "Guy Eye" and this is some of what I found.

Some men think they are"Chief" or maybe they collect "Indian Chief's"

Some men can be "Clown's" or collects them

 Some  are "Pioneer's"

Then there is the "Sport's Buff" Men.  Or "Fisherman"

Or even one who just likes to tell "Fish Stories"

Another man talks about the one that got away

Or the Man that "Love's the Sea"

Or the guy who just likes to sit and contemplate.

Let us not forget the Golfing Man  and the Baseball Man

Or the Handy Dandy Man

I'd hate to forget the Travelling man

But the first man most of us treasure is our Dad.   I wish I still had my dad. How I would love getting just one more chance to get the privilege to go shop for just one special gift for him.   Unfortunately I can only encourage and assist you in purchasing a gift in my store to honor your dad.

Just remember whichever type of dad you have be grateful for the special treasure you have when you have a dad.

Time And Changes

I was in the store yesterday for 1 hour and not once but twice in that short time I heard thos magical word.  "The store has changed a lot".  I wondered is that good or bad so I asked and I loved the answer it was "I love the fact that every time I come in here I find new merchandise and I love the way it all is displayed".   It may not seem like a lot  but to me it was music to me ears.  I keep trying new things.

We have even added color.  Yes, wall color.  I  LOVE RED!

Lot's of  Pretties

Even Toy's

If you haven't been in to see our changes you are missing a lot.

We have some incredible things coming our way in the near future.

Sorry for the delay, I promise to blog more often.

OH BTW... on our website at www.coopercityantiquemall.com we soon will go live and have items for sale

New booths, New Look, New Meet Up... I love change

This past weekend was our Spring Sale and I am very excited to share photo's from many of the amazing "Creative Soul's" that we call "Dealers".

I don't know why I love the color red so much. In my store... in my dining room... Even in my bathroom

It amazes me how pretty Red and Blue can be.
Rich red color's mixed with pastel blue is yummy.

Primitive mixed with fine china is incredibly elegant. I love the versatility.

Can anyone tell me why Noritake and Nippon look the same?

I haven't figured out why I love glass!  Glass of many colors.

Here doggy ... doggy

Red Head's

Who would ever think tools could look so cool?

Here is to functional being  "As pretty as it gets".  Just like Industrial Chic metal is "Oh So ... beautiful"

Talk about childhood memories

How is your Bucket List coming along?

I have so many more photos to post but it is almost midnight so I guess tomorrow is another day.

Our Ever Evolving "Designer Green Kitchen"

Stage 1 Our Before  I wanted this to be a kind of easy to see view of "Our Answer to The Disposable Society" we live in.  The furniture and lighting are how they were displayed good or bad in our store when Kevin saw it's potential.

It's amazing how different the room looks depending on the island

Who would think that a room that started like this could be so amazing?

Stage 2 Since our concept involved using a 250 square foot area in the front of our store (literally in our front window). we had to do a few  things to difine the area.  Since we just happened to have a few trellis's sitting there we suddenly had walls.  The floor you see above is one of the few items we had to go purchase for our project so we headed to Habitat Restore to keep to our Green Theme.

Stage 3 This is really the "First" room design.  Green Island Design

What is the next Phase???
I guess only time will tell... Kevin Alden Reed has proven that with just 250 square feet of space you can have an amazing Green "Designer" Kitchen and Family Area.

If you haven't had a chance to come in to the store to see this amazing kitchen which is the epitome of  Green, Reuse, Recycle, and Repurposing.  By using our antique store Kevin has mixed Antiques, Vintiques, and Mantiques with Victorian, Shabby, and Primitive to:

"Rock the Heart of Any Antique/Vintage Loving Soul"

Cooper City Antique Mall Unveils "Our Answer to the Disposable Society We Live In"

On Saturday January 29th and 30th we finally revealed "Our Answer to The Disposable Society We Live In"

Interior Decorator: Kevin Alden Reed designed an outstanding "designer kitchen" using items from our own store.  This project was kind of our version of what Ikea has done with the modern kitchen.  In 250sq/ft using 90 percent antiques, vintage, or recycled products this kitchen was designed.

This primitive table made an incredible island.

This amazing stove and oven was from a deconstruction. I purchased and stored  it hoping someday I would buy a second home and decided it would be amazing to show how a kitchen could be designed using quality antiques.
Kevin designed this kitchen with even a small desk as often in a small kitchen is present.

Even the details of a bench seat and vintage paintings added a charm to a kitchen that literally is located in a storefront window that would make anyone want to move in.

Kevin did an incredible job at not only showing antiques from all of our dealers but better yet he proved that antiques are the origianl green and you don't have to negatively impact our carbon footprint to have a beautiful kitchen.

Cooper City Antique Mall believe’s in all the R’s Rescue-Repair-Reuse-Repurpose-
Recycle-Reuse-Reduce-Repair-
Re-Invent-Re-Imagine
We consider antiques "The Original form of Green”.
In addition to the antiques we already had in our store our flooring and sink were purchased at  Habitat Re-Store which is a store dedicated to the same R's we follow

We also are very proud that Yanet of 3 Sunkissed Boys wrote about us on her blog :
